The Handmaid's Tale

The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood 4.5 stars even, this was a wonderful story. The further I read, the more I got into it. Its scary though, because nothing that happened is actually beyond the realm of possibility. How scary would it be to wake up tomorrow in their shoes, as a woman anyway? *shudders*I really respect Atwood's writing style, and the way she made her world come alive. It scared the bejesus out of me, but it has most likely made me an Atwood convert. I'll have to read more of her now definitely.
