I love the way these books showcase loyalty. In Iron Kissed, Mercedes shows her deep sense of loyalty time and time again in helping Zee...and she decides to trust Stefan in this book when he displays his loyalty to people even after they have betrayed him. It is just nice to see a workable honor system, since most of the time with fantasy series like this, the reason people cling to each other either has something to do with sex or just makes no sense at all.I'm also loving the way she is slowly getting Mercedes and Adam comfy in their relationship. I also love Adam's daughter Jesse, I hope she starts becoming a more prominent character.
