I'm Watching You

I'm Watching You (Romantic Suspense, #3) - Karen Rose 4.5 stars. I can't quite give it 5, only because Don't Tell is still my favorite of the series so far.Karen Rose definitely has a pattern: the two main characters with tons of emotional baggage, one of them in some way connected to a killer on the loose. But every story is so specific, riviting and emotional that it doesn't matter in the least.Reading books like this really IS emotional, because even though the specific scenario in the book didn't happen, things like it happen all the time. It reminds me how brave people can be during and after tragedy. I have a really weak spot for women that have gone through abuse of any kind, and both this and Don't Tell have featured super strong main characters that have survived abusive situations of some sort. And putting the strong characters with their emotional intensity and chemistry aside, Karen Rose also comes through in the suspense department. You never quite know what will happen next.I love LOVE this author and her series, I wish they were more widely read. I can't recommend them enough.
